About the Event

Executive Director Allison Bender-Corbett and Methane Mitigation Program Manager Brooks Shaffer will be making the trip to Brasília, Brazil for the 2025 Climate and Clean Air Conference that will take place from 16–21 March, 2025. This year’s theme, “Preparing for COP30: Tackling Super Pollutants to Avoid the Catastrophic Overshoot of 1.5°C,” highlights the urgent need for decisive action.  Allison and Brooks will be presenting and participating as members of the Recycle Organics Program to discuss innovative waste management projects that address harmful methane emissions in 20+ countries around the world.


This year, the conference will focus on NDCs 3.0 commitments as investment plans, hold a Science-Policy Dialogue on Super Pollutants, explore gender equity as a driver of action, and sectoral policies that can drive mitigation. Sharing experiences from action at home and demonstrating leadership – be it as GMP and Clean Air champion countries or driving a sectoral or regional…
