Pablo Lopez Legarreta
Pablo mainly focuses on CCAP’s projects in Latin America. He works closely with municipal and national governments from Latin American countries developing policies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change. He also performs techno-economic analyses of said policies, and has experience developing NAMAs in the energy, transport, and waste management sectors.
Prior to joining CCAP, Pablo worked in the sustainability department of one of the leading construction companies in the Netherlands. There he led efforts to quantify and reduce the company’s carbon footprint, as well as introduce sustainable practices and materials to the company’s everyday activities. He later joined a Dutch-based advisory company, where he was committed to the development of policies and projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions in developing countries. Pablo also has experience in the industrial sector, as well as in supply chain management consulting.
Pablo holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Mexico (UNAM) and an MSc in Energy Science and Sustainable Development from Utrecht University. He has lived in Mexico, France, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands and the U.S.
