Isabelle Turcotte

Isabelle supports CCAP’s United States Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) and Mitigation Action Implementation Network (MAIN) programs.

Within the U.S. program she helps promote dialogue between industry representatives, policy makers, and environmental groups to identify sensible strategies towards reducing domestic emissions. Within the international program she is working on promoting Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) in developing countries.

She comes to CCAP from Globerpro, a Canadian management consulting firm, where she managed projects; co-authored papers on renewable energy, electric vehicles, and smartgrids; and provided advice to foster entrepreneurship and growth in the clean energy technology market. She also held positions at National Ecocredit where she quantified greenhouse gas emissions reductions for projects to generate Certifiied Emissions Reductions and at Ecologic Institute, a German think tank for applied environmental and climate change research, policy analysis and consultancy. She is fluent in French, proficient in Spanish, and is still working on her German.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University (Canada). She also graduated from the Joint European Masters in Environmental Sciences (Germany/Spain).
