Leila Yim Surratt Named Interim-CEO
Leila Yim Surratt, a longtime leader at CCAP, has been named interim-CEO of the Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP) effective September 1. Leila succeeds Bill Tyndall, who is stepping down as CEO to join an investment firm to help with its U.S. renewable energy business.
Leila previously served as CCAP’s Chief Operating Officer. She has managed both CCAP’s international and U.S. programs, including its flagship MAIN Initiative that supports developing countries in Asia and Latin America to design and implement low-carbon development strategies in the energy, transportation and waste sectors.
Bill will rejoin CCAP’s Board of Directors as Vice Chair, and will continue to work with CCAP on several initiatives to support efforts to accelerate the transition to low-carbon energy.
