10/29/09 -- CCAP told members of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee today that passing the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act (CEJAPA) is critical to reaching a deal at the international climate change negotiations in Copenhagen, Denmark in December.

CCAP AND MEXICO, INDIA SAY DEVELOPING COUNTRY AND U.S. EMISSION REDUCTION ACTIONS ARE KEY TO COPENHAGEN FRAMEWORK
Clean Skies TV, 9/30/09 – CCAP President Ned Helme and representatives from Mexico and India told Clean Skies TV that nations crafting a post-2012 international framework at the UN climate talks in Copenhagen this December will rely heavily on both U.S. and developing country actions. Regarding the U.S. climate bill, Helme said he does not think it will be necessary to pass through the Senate before Copenhagen, but making it to the Senate Floor by then will be an important step.
